How Amatic Reaches UK Casino Lobbies

An Amatic casino is not a casino owned by Amatic. The distinction matters because the name belongs to a software supplier, while the betting relationship belongs to an operator. Searches for the best EGT online casinos UK 2026 may use supplier names as shorthand for casino sites where those games can be found, but the business structure is less tidy than the phrase suggests.

Amatic Industries GmbH is an Austrian business-to-business gaming supplier, established in 1993. Its role is to create and supply gambling software to licensed operators and their technology partners. It does not run a consumer-facing casino where British players open accounts, deposit money and place bets. The company sits behind the lobby rather than behind the cashier.

That arrangement is common in remote gambling. A casino may present a single branded website, yet its games can come from several specialist businesses. One company supplies the software, another may provide the technical platform, and the operator manages the customer account. The visible casino name is therefore not necessarily the name attached to the game’s reels or code.

What the UK licence means

Amatic holds a UK Gambling Commission remote gambling software licence. That authorisation concerns the supply of software to the British market; it does not turn Amatic into a consumer casino. The Gambling Commission issues different kinds of permission within the industry, including operating licences for businesses that provide gambling and personal licences for people working in relevant roles. A software supplier and a casino operator are not interchangeable simply because both appear somewhere in the same regulated system.

The Gambling Commission oversees gambling activity in Great Britain, including remote casino services. Its reach does not depend on where the crucial servers or other technical equipment happen to be located. A business offering remote gambling to consumers in Great Britain must hold the appropriate UKGC licence, even when part of its operation is based elsewhere.

This is why the phrase “UK casino” should describe the operator’s regulatory position, not the nationality of the game developer. A casino offering Amatic titles to British customers must be the licensed party responsible for the remote gambling service. Amatic’s software authorisation supports the supply chain, but it does not replace the operator’s duties.

Elk Studios Casinos in the UK: How Availability Works

Two routes into a casino lobby

Amatic games reach licensed operators through two principal technical routes.

The first is a direct integration. In that model, the operator or its platform connects with Amatic’s game systems and makes the approved titles available within its own lobby. The relationship can be relatively direct from a technical perspective, although the casino still controls the customer-facing account, payments and service environment.

The second route runs through an aggregator. An aggregator connects multiple game suppliers to casino platforms, allowing an operator to access a broader catalogue through one technical feed rather than building a separate integration for every provider. Amatic’s games can therefore appear on a UK-licensed site even when the casino’s visible technology stack is supplied by an intermediary.

For the player, both routes may look almost identical. A game appears in the casino menu, opens within the operator’s website or app environment, and records the result against the gambling account. The hidden difference is contractual and technical: the title may be delivered straight from Amatic or through a distribution layer. Neither route makes Amatic the casino.

This also explains why the same provider can appear in one lobby and not another. Game distribution depends on the operator’s integrations, commercial arrangements and current catalogue. A casino can carry software from a supplier without displaying every title associated with that supplier, while another operator may use a different feed altogether. The name on the game is a clue to its origin, not a complete map of where else it can be played.

Who handles the gambling account

Amatic does not accept bets directly from British players. The casino operator is the party that handles the practical relationship with the customer. Deposits, withdrawals, payouts, bonus conditions and customer support belong to that operator’s service.

That division is easy to overlook because software branding is often more visible than corporate responsibility. A player may recognise a provider’s logo on a slot screen, yet the account remains with the casino site that supplied access to it. Questions about a missing payment or an account restriction consequently concern the operator, not the company that designed the game.

Amatic provides the gaming software, but the casino operator is the party responsible for the customer relationship, including deposits, withdrawals, and support.

The same principle applies to the operator’s licence. A software supplier’s UKGC authorisation is not a licence for every casino carrying its titles. The operator offering real-money remote gambling in Great Britain needs its own appropriate operating permission. The Gambling Commission remains the central commercial gambling regulator for Great Britain; its register distinguishes the businesses permitted to conduct gambling from those permitted to supply the underlying technology.

So references to EGT slots in the UK, online casinos with EGT games, or casinos carrying EGT titles describe a distribution relationship rather than a separate category of casino. The useful question is not whether Amatic itself accepts a wager. It does not. The useful question is which licensed operator has integrated the games and is providing the account through which the wager takes place.

A lobby is a shop window. The supplier is behind it.

From AMANET to the Online Slot

Amatic’s route into online gaming runs through AMANET, the online division launched around 2010. The name marks a change in medium rather than a departure from the company’s older identity. Amatic began as a supplier of casino software and equipment; AMANET carried that work into the browser, where a slot became a piece of digital software rather than a cabinet standing beneath the coloured lights of a gaming floor.

That distinction matters when people speak loosely of Amatic or EGT slots in the United Kingdom. EGT is a separate supplier, while Amatic belongs to its own Austrian company and AMANET is the name associated with its online gaming operation. The two labels can drift together in casual casino language because both are linked with video slots, but they are not interchangeable. Precision is less glamorous than a lobby banner, though it tends to survive scrutiny better.

Best IGT Online Casinos UK: Amatic Explained

AMANET’s arrival also placed Amatic games within the familiar architecture of remote gaming. The online slot is not a direct conversation between a player and a machine. It is software supplied for integration into a casino platform, with the visual display, game controls and outcome logic presented through the operator’s website. The division therefore made Amatic’s established style adaptable to online play without turning the supplier into a consumer casino.

The shape of an Amatic online slot

The usual Amatic online slot follows a recognisable format: five reels arranged in three rows, with nine or ten fixed paylines. Those lines determine where matching symbols must land for a winning combination. Because the number of paylines is fixed, the basic structure is set by the game rather than adjusted spin by spin. The player encounters a defined pattern, not an open-ended choice of lines.

This format sits close to the traditional video slot. Five reels provide the familiar horizontal field, while three rows give enough space for combinations to form across the display. The design is neither an attempt to imitate every elaborate modern feature nor a return to the single-line machine. It occupies the middle ground that has made video slots so durable: a compact visual arrangement, a clear payline system and outcomes that can be read without learning an entire private vocabulary.

Reel arrangement Five reels, three rows

Payline structure Fixed (typically nine or ten lines)

Key features Scatters and book-style free spins

Scatter symbols add a second route to a reward. Unlike an ordinary line win, a scatter payment is connected to the presence of the relevant symbol on the reels rather than necessarily requiring it to appear along one of the fixed lines. The result is a small change in the player’s attention. The paylines remain the main map, but the whole reel window can become significant when scatters are involved.

The other recurring feature is the book-style free-spin round. Its title refers to a familiar family of themes in which a book symbol or book-like presentation is tied to the bonus feature. Once the qualifying condition is met, the game moves into a separate sequence of free spins, often with the visual language of the base game carried into a more theatrical setting. The feature gives the slot a second act without requiring a different game to be opened.

Here the word “free” describes the spin mechanism, not necessarily a promotional offer. A free-spin round inside a slot is part of the game’s programmed structure. It should not be confused with casino marketing, where free spins may be attached to account conditions or bonus terms. The distinction is modest in wording and substantial in consequence: one belongs to the game format, the other to the operator’s promotion.

From cabinet logic to browser presentation

The online version preserves the grammar of the slot while changing its surroundings. Reels become animated panels on a screen; paylines are drawn or implied across the grid; symbols expand, disappear or settle according to the game’s design. The underlying language remains that of the video slot, but the presentation can be scaled to the device displaying it.

Best Betsoft Online Casinos UK: What to Check

That continuity helps explain why the catalogue can appeal to people looking for classic Amatic slots as well as to those searching for newer online releases. “Classic” in this setting need not mean an old title with a known publication date. It can describe a style: the five-by-three reel arrangement, fixed lines, scatter payments and a book-themed bonus round. Conversely, calling a title new does not by itself tell much about its mechanics. A recent release may still speak in the established dialect.

The same applies to the word “popular”. It may describe a game’s presence in casino lobbies or its familiarity among players, but it does not alter the format. Nor does the availability of a free-play mode create a different kind of Amatic slot. The game’s reels, paylines and bonus architecture remain the point of reference; the surrounding conditions determine how the software is presented.

AMANET’s significance, then, lies less in a dramatic reinvention than in translation. Amatic’s slot vocabulary moved from physical and traditional casino settings into online gaming while retaining a structure that can be recognised quickly. Five reels. Three rows. Fixed lines. Scatters. A book-style free-spin round. That is the outline; the atmosphere is decoration.

Real-Money, Free Play and the Mobile Browser

An Amatic slot can appear in two distinct forms: as a real-money game inside a casino account, or as a free-play version used to inspect the interface without staking cash. The screen may look much the same in both cases. The financial meaning is not the same at all.

DO
  • Use a demo version to inspect the interface and mechanics without staking cash.
  • Verify the operator’s UKGC licence before playing for real money.
DON’T
  • Assume that every Amatic title has the same RTP settings at every casino.
  • Confuse a software supplier’s authorisation with a casino’s operating licence.

Real-money play in a UK casino

Real-money access takes place through a UKGC-licensed casino that carries the relevant Amatic titles. The operator provides the account, the cashier and the game session. Amatic supplies the software; it is not the place where a British player opens an account, deposits funds or requests a withdrawal.

That distinction matters because the words “Amatic casino” can suggest a consumer brand that does not exist. In practice, the game is one component of a casino’s remote gambling service. A player signs in to the operator’s website, selects an available title and launches it from the casino lobby. Stakes and winnings are then recorded against that casino account.

The same arrangement applies whether the game is opened on a desktop computer, tablet or phone. The device changes the doorway, not the relationship between player, operator and supplier.

A real-money game is therefore not created merely because an Amatic title loads on a mobile screen. It becomes real-money play when it runs within an operator’s account and the selected spins affect the account balance. A polished demo and a funded game can look almost identical. That is the small trap built into modern software: appearance has become better at hiding consequences.

Free play and demo versions

Free play is useful for seeing how a title behaves before money enters the picture. A demo can show the reels, controls, symbols and general rhythm of the game while keeping the session separate from a cash balance. No deposit is needed simply to examine a free version where the operator makes one available.

Amatic Online Casinos UK: How the Games Reach Lobbies

Demo access is not a substitute for the casino account. It does not establish that the same title is available for real-money play at that operator, and it does not turn a supplier’s software page into a gambling service. Availability depends on how the casino presents its lobby and which games it has enabled.

Free spins deserve a separate description. The phrase may refer to complimentary rounds attached to a promotion, while “free play” can mean a demonstration mode in which the balance is purely virtual. They are not interchangeable. A promotional free spin takes place under the casino’s terms; a demo is a way of viewing the game without converting the session into a cash wager.

The wording surrounding a promotion also needs care. A bonus code, when a casino uses one, belongs to the operator’s offer rather than to Amatic as a software supplier. Its presence does not prove that every Amatic title qualifies, nor that a free-play version carries the same conditions as a promotional feature.

Playing on a mobile browser

Amatic games are generally delivered as HTML5 titles in a mobile browser. That means a phone or tablet can load the game through the casino’s website without a separate download. The browser handles the session, while the casino account remains the place where real-money activity is recorded.

This format suits the habits that have reshaped remote gambling. A game can be opened from a handset rather than from a dedicated desktop program, and the software is designed to run across device types. No installation package is required merely because the screen is small.

Mobile Access

Amatic games are generally delivered as HTML5 titles, allowing them to be played in a mobile browser on phones or tablets without requiring a separate download or installation package.

Browser access should not be confused with unrestricted access. A mobile browser can display a demo or a real-money game, but the latter still belongs to the operator’s licensed service and its account controls. The technology makes the game portable; it does not change the legal or commercial identity of the parties involved.

For someone looking for Amatic slots on mobile in the UK, the practical path is consequently simple in structure: an operator’s website, a compatible browser, and a title present in that operator’s lobby. The game may be free to inspect or connected to a cash balance, depending on the mode selected. Same handset, different stakes.

What the Amatic Game Format Offers

Amatic’s online slot format is recognisable before a particular title is named. The standard arrangement uses five reels and three rows, producing the compact rectangular grid familiar from many casino games. Beneath the decorative theme sits a fixed mathematical layout: nine or ten paylines, depending on the game.

That fixed-line structure matters. A payline is a route across the reels on which matching symbols can create a win. Because the number of lines is set in the game design, the player is not choosing how many to activate from spin to spin. The machine presents its pattern as part of the product, rather than as a menu of adjustable settings.

Reels, rows and fixed paylines

The five-reel, three-row grid gives symbols several possible positions on each spin. Winning combinations are assessed according to the payline pattern, while the visual arrangement makes the result easy to read: symbols land in columns, and the active lines connect them across the display.

Barcrest Online Casinos in the UK: Games and Operators

Nine- and ten-line versions sit within the same general format but are not identical. A single additional line changes which symbol paths can count, even when the reels and rows look familiar. This is one reason that an “Amatic slot” is better understood as a family resemblance than as one universal template.

The format is deliberately legible. A line-based game turns the result into a small piece of visual punctuation: symbols align, a payline lights, and the win is settled. No elaborate table layout is needed. Just reels, symbols and routes.

Scatter symbols add a second route to a feature

Scatter pays work differently from ordinary line wins. Rather than being tied only to a particular payline, scatter symbols can award a result through their presence on the reels. In the Amatic format, scatters are also associated with the transition into the free-spin feature.

This gives the game two parallel forms of anticipation. The first comes from watching symbols form combinations along fixed lines. The second comes from waiting for enough scatters to trigger a separate round. The reels therefore serve both the ordinary paytable and the feature mechanism, although the two outcomes are calculated differently.

The “Book of” free-spin round

A recurring feature is the book-style free-spin round. Its name reflects a familiar storytelling convention in slot design: a book symbol acts as the doorway to an event that interrupts the ordinary sequence of spins. Once the feature is activated, the game moves into a dedicated free-spin phase.

Once the qualifying condition is met, the game moves into a separate sequence of free spins, often using a book symbol to trigger the feature.

The free-spin round changes the rhythm without changing the basic visual language. Reels still turn and symbols still land in rows, but the play is framed as a feature rather than as the standard game. A book theme also gives the bonus a sense of beginning and continuation, borrowing the simple grammar of a story: an opening symbol, a special chapter and a return to the main screen.

This structure helps explain the appeal of Amatic’s online slots in British casino lobbies. The games combine a familiar five-by-three arrangement with a fixed-line system that can be understood at a glance, then add scatter-triggered features for a change of pace. The design is neither a digital table game nor a live presentation. It is a self-contained video slot, built around repeated reel cycles and a feature round with a book motif.

The result is a format with few moving parts, but clear ones. Five reels. Three rows. Fixed lines. Scatters. A book-style detour. That is the architecture.

Finding Amatic Games at UK-licensed Operators

Amatic availability is not a permanent feature of every British casino lobby. A UKGC-licensed operator may carry the supplier’s titles, remove them, or show them only in particular sections of its catalogue. That makes “the best” Amatic casino a matter of current availability rather than a fixed league table. A casino can be perfectly legitimate and still not have the relevant games when the account is opened.

iSoftBet Casinos UK: How Amatic Games Fit In

Two editorial listings of UK operators provide examples of where Amatic titles have been reported. One includes Betfred, Jackpotjoy, William Hill, kwiff, PokerStars, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Unibet, Virgin Games and Casumo. Another names Sky Vegas, 32Red, 888casino, Betfred, Bet365, William Hill, Virgin Games, Betway, Betvictor and Betfair. The overlap is modestly revealing: Betfred, William Hill and Virgin Games appear in both, while the wider lists differ. Casino catalogues are less like public timetables than shop windows; they change without consulting one another.

These names should therefore be read as editorial examples, not as an approved-provider register issued by the UK Gambling Commission. The regulator licenses gambling businesses and sets the conditions for lawful remote gambling; it does not publish a badge declaring that every title from a particular supplier must be present at a named casino. The presence of Amatic games at an operator is a commercial catalogue matter within the UKGC framework.

The practical consequence is straightforward: the operator’s current provider or games list is the decisive reference before a first deposit. A search for an Amatic section, a supplier filter or a named title may reveal whether the catalogue is live, while customer support can clarify an ambiguous listing. Old comparison pages are poor substitutes for a current lobby.

What counts as a UK option

For British players, a site offering Amatic games for real-money remote gambling must hold a UKGC operating licence. That is separate from the software supplier’s position: the casino is the business dealing with the account and the customer, while the provider’s name in a game menu does not turn the provider into a casino. The distinction matters because a polished lobby and a familiar brand name are not themselves evidence of current UK authorisation.

Verify Licence

Always check the UK Gambling Commission public register to confirm an operator holds a valid UKGC licence before playing.

The Gambling Commission is the sole commercial gambling regulator in Great Britain. Its public register is the proper place to confirm an operator’s current UKGC licence before treating a listed casino as a lawful option. A name appearing in an editorial list cannot replace that check, especially where brands, ownership and game portfolios may change.

The same caution applies to mobile listings and “no-deposit” labels. A casino may advertise a general promotion or display a mobile-friendly lobby without carrying Amatic slots, and a free-play route does not prove that real-money titles are available. Those are separate questions, best kept separate.

So, where to play Amatic slots online in the UK? The answer is found by matching two current details: a UKGC-licensed operator and an active Amatic entry in that operator’s own games catalogue. The lists above narrow the field; they do not settle it. Availability, like the small print, remains local.

Software, RTP Versions and the Operator’s Role

An Amatic game is not necessarily tied to one return-to-player setting everywhere it appears. A specialist review identified the same title in different RTP versions, with the casino operator determining which version is made available in its lobby. RTP therefore belongs to the specific game configuration, not simply to the provider’s name.

Book of Aztec offers a clear illustration. The versions recorded in that review were 90.57% and 97.63%. Those figures describe different theoretical return settings for the slot; they are not two measurements of one session and do not predict the result of an individual spin. The gap matters because a player comparing Amatic software in the UK needs to inspect the information attached to the actual game at the actual casino, rather than assume that every installation is identical.

Amatic Online Casinos UK: Games and Availability

This is also why a software review and a casino review answer different questions. A review of EGT casino software may discuss the provider’s interface, slot features or the way its games are presented across devices. A review of a particular Amatic slot may examine its reels and free-spin structure. Neither, by itself, establishes the RTP version active in every UK lobby. The operator’s game information is the relevant point of reference for that installation.

The distinction between supplier and operator extends beyond mathematics. Amatic Industries supplies the gaming software; it does not accept bets from British players. Deposits are taken by the casino operator, which also administers withdrawals and payouts. Bonus terms sit with that operator as well, as does customer support when an account, payment or game-session problem arises.

In practical terms, the software may carry the Amatic identity while the gambling account belongs elsewhere. The UKGC licence governing the player-facing remote gambling service is therefore the operator’s responsibility, not something transferred to the supplier merely because an Amatic title appears in the lobby. The supplier builds and distributes the game; the casino runs the relationship with the customer.

A tidy division, at least on paper.

Bonuses, Free Spins and the UK Wagering Cap

Promotional language often makes a free spin sound like a small gift detached from the rest of the account. In practice, the important detail is what happens to any winnings. A bonus balance may need to be played through before withdrawal, while a cash credit does not carry that particular obstacle. The distinction matters for searches about no-deposit EGT spins, free play and first-deposit offers, even though the promotion itself is set by the casino operator rather than the game supplier.

Promotional Terms

Casino bonuses and wagering requirements are set by the operator, not the software supplier.

Since 19 December 2025, UK rules have limited wagering requirements on bonus funds to 10×. That is a ceiling, not an instruction that every offer must use the same condition. A casino may attach a lower requirement, or may issue free spins whose winnings are credited as cash and therefore carry no playthrough requirement. Other terms can still apply, including eligibility, expiry, game restrictions and any deposit condition.

A specialist review identified 32Red, Betfred and Bet365 as offering free-spin wins with 0× wagering. This describes those reported promotions at the time of that review, not a permanent feature of every account or every Amatic game. Availability can change, and the presence of Amatic titles does not turn an operator’s promotion into an Amatic-specific offer.

The same review reported a bet365 free-spin promotion requiring a minimum lifetime deposit of £10, with as many as 500 spins issued across 10 days. The figures belong to that particular offer and should not be treated as a general rule for casino bonuses in the United Kingdom. A “no deposit” label elsewhere may refer to registration, a free-spin reward, or a separate promotional route; it does not by itself explain whether winnings are withdrawable.

That is why phrases such as “£5 deposit casino” or “slots without GamStop” can conceal more than they clarify. The deposit threshold, wagering condition and regulatory status are separate matters. For UK play, the relevant question is not whether a promotion sounds free, but which conditions govern the resulting balance. Marketing survives inspection.

Amatic Casinos in the UK: Games, Licensing and Play

Deposits, Crypto and Consumer Protections

Cryptocurrency creates a misleadingly simple picture of casino access. A wallet can cross a border in moments; consumer protection cannot. For Amatic play aimed at Britain, a specialist review did not confirm any UKGC-licensed operator accepting cryptocurrency. That is a statement about the operators checked at that time, not a permanent rule about every future casino or payment method.

The important distinction is between the game supplier and the gambling business. Amatic provides software to licensed operators, while the operator accepts deposits, manages the account and pays winnings. A casino offering Amatic games to British customers must therefore sit within the UKGC system. The payment method does not change that requirement. Calling a site a “crypto casino” does not turn an offshore licence into a UKGC licence.

Offshore examples make the contrast visible. Winstler, described as Curaçao-licensed, and MrJones, operating under an Anjouan licence, offer Amatic games outside the UK regulatory framework. Their availability does not give British players the protections attached to a UKGC operator: the same licensing conditions, British complaints routes, or the domestic system of oversight. Nor should either example be treated as a UK casino merely because its games are accessible from Britain.

GamStop is part of that difference. Since 31 March 2020, participation has been compulsory for all online operators licensed for Great Britain. A casino outside that system cannot be presented as a GamStop-covered alternative. A fast cryptocurrency withdrawal, where advertised by an offshore business, also says nothing about whether a dispute has an effective UK route or whether the operator is accountable to the Gambling Commission.

Regulatory Protection

Attention Using an offshore casino may mean you lack the legal protections and complaints routes provided by the UK Gambling Commission.

The practical question behind phrases such as “where can British players play Amatic slots?” is therefore not simply whether a title loads on a phone or whether a deposit can be made in crypto. It is which operator is legally serving the market, and under which regulatory framework. The border is technical; the consequences are not.

Live Casino and the Limits of the Available Evidence

The word “casino” causes a small grammatical trap in discussions of Amatic. Amatic Industries is not a casino in the consumer sense. It is a software supplier whose games can appear inside the lobbies of UKGC-licensed operators. The company does not present a standalone betting account where British customers register, deposit and receive winnings directly.

That distinction matters most when the subject turns from slots to live casino. A live-casino studio normally means streamed dealer tables: people dealing cards or spinning a wheel in a physical studio, with the game transmitted to an online audience. Amatic’s established UK-facing role is different. Its games reach licensed operators through direct technical integrations or aggregator feeds, rather than through an Amatic casino platform of its own.

The evidence supports describing Amatic as an online gaming supplier with slot distribution in Britain. It does not support presenting Amatic as a UK live-casino studio, or promising a catalogue of live blackjack, roulette or baccarat under the company’s name. Nor does it justify a “complete” live-casino list: there is no confirmed Amatic live product to place on one.

This also separates three questions that are often folded together:

The presence of Amatic games in a casino lobby answers only the first question. It says nothing about the operator’s wider live offering, and it does not turn the supplier into a consumer-facing casino. The label is doing too much work._strip

Live casino is another business entirely.

Stake Limits and the Rules Behind Online Slots

A UK-licensed online slot is played inside a regulated framework, not in the lawless little universe suggested by some casino advertising. The stake limit depends on age.

For players aged 25 and over, the maximum stake is £5 per game cycle. This limit took effect on 9 April 2025. For players aged 18 to 24, the ceiling is lower: £2 per game cycle, in force from 21 May 2025.

The rule applies to online slots generally, including Amatic titles when they appear in a UKGC-licensed casino lobby. It is not an Amatic-specific condition and does not change because a game is accessed through a mobile browser, included in a casino promotion or presented under a different software brand. The relevant unit is the game cycle: the stake attached to one completed slot round.

Age therefore has a practical consequence beyond account verification. A younger adult may be legally permitted to use a licensed online casino, yet still face a lower maximum stake on slots than an older adult. The distinction is deliberate, reflecting the Commission’s approach to reducing the potential intensity of play for younger customers.

The rules also control how the game proceeds. Online slot autoplay is prohibited in Britain, so a sequence of spins cannot be launched and continued automatically. Each spin must be initiated separately. There must also be a minimum interval of 2.5 seconds between spins. That pause is hardly theatrical, but it interrupts the frictionless rhythm that makes digital gambling resemble a conveyor belt.

These requirements belong to the play environment rather than to a bonus or a particular supplier. A welcome offer, deposit promotion or free-spin feature cannot remove them. Nor can a familiar game format turn an unlicensed site into a UK-regulated one. In Britain, the rules travel with the licensed remote operator.
